I approached Forest in October last year about the prospect of doing some work with them, to try and raise awareness of Autism and learning difficulties in Nottingham. At Crocus Fields, we are very keen to raise awareness of our service so that we can continue to try our very best to support children and their families in Nottinghamshire.
Nottingham Forest are a huge club, and a massive part of the local community. Forest have invited us to a number of events involving the National Citizens Service and Nottingham Forest as a result of this partnership. To celebrate this partnership we were offered tickets for the game against Hull City on the 10th February. Some of the children and their families joined myself for a fun day out. Whilst Forest unfortunately lost the game, everyone had a fantastic day. We even had the opportunity to have a photo taken with Forest midfielder Ben Watson!
We look forward to continuing to work with Nottingham Forest in the future.
