Many of our wonderful families at Crocus Fields have been involved in various community efforts during the Covid-19 pandemic. One such family is Avy's. Avy's mother, Chitra, was recently on a Zoom call with Prime Minister Boris Johnson, his fiancee Carrie Symonds and Christine Bound (a retired nurse). Christine has been receiving supportive video calls during the pandemic.
Chitra is a Volunteer NHS First Responder (https://nhsvolunteerresponders.org.uk/) and was speaking to Christine, as part of the 'Christmas Together' campaign. This campaign is attempting to tackle loneliness during these difficult times.
