Introduction

I am a children’s residential social worker. I am fairly new to the amazing crocus team! I joined in September 2021. I am very passionate about working with children/ young people with SEN and autism.

I previously worked within an educational setting and enjoyed observing children develop in all aspects. I have over 5 years’ experience working with children with autism and other complexed needs as well as dealing with challenging behaviour.

I have a level 3 diploma in the following: childcare, health and social care and supporting specialist teaching and learning, these have enabled me to gain further knowledge and experience.

I Thoroughly enjoy working at crocus fields, it is lovely to be able to see the children learn and grow in exciting and fun new ways! Also being able to support the young people in different aspects, for example with their communication, confidence and social skills.

About me

I enjoy playing football! I currently play for Ilkeston town, I have played there for 6 years.
