My name is Joe and I started at crocus fields in November 2019. Crocus Fields is a fantastic place to work with very friendly staff and lovely children and I really enjoy my role as a residential support worker.
I have lots of interests including gardening, growing my own veg and I love food, cooking as much as I can!
I have supported Nottingham forest since I was a young lad and love watching footy even if forest do lose more than they win.
I want the children that come to Crocus to have a much fun as possible and this gives me great job satisfaction and motivation to come to work each day with a smile on my face.
I am good at making connections with our young people and their families. WIth Outreach it's really important to be able to engage with people, this helps to get the best outcomes to families. I always try to look for ways to make that connection.
My favourite things are being at home with my friends and family, going out for coffee with friends and having lots of children around me.
I read a lot, I like to go to a couple of festivals each year and I do like a nice weekend break with a show.
