Crocus Fields

Assistant Unit Manager
Jane Hodgson
Introduction

Hello Crocus Family

I was fortunate enough to be appointed as Assistant Unit Manage on 1st August 2019, after six years working as a casual worker during weekends and school holidays

Previous to getting this lovely job I was a Lecturer in Further Education for 22 years, teaching Early Years and Health and Social Care at Nottingham College.

I enjoy going to the gym, particularly yoga and spin. My two dogs get me outdoors everyday; I enjoy walking them in all seasons; the bulbs popping up in spring, the glorious long summer days, crunching the crisp leaves in the autumn and making footprints in the snow . You'll even find me outdoors when it's absolutely throwing it down, although you would be unlikely to recognise me as I have a huge coat that covers me from my head to below my wellies!!!

My three daughters all have children of their own, so Grandma time is very special for me, they are only little for such a short amount of time, I treasure the good days and know the more trying ones will pass.

Do say hello to me and introduce yourself, I am honoured to be working here and look forward to getting to know you more
